Sunday Thoughts

We all could form an idea of what a perfect friend would be like.  Above all we would want them to be selfless, understanding, and always there when we need it.  They'd make us feel loved, and that's why we would like having them in our life.  In realizing this, one thing is obvious: there is no better friend than Christ.  Nobody is more selfless- he lived for others and died for others.  Nobody understands more what we go through because he went through it, too.  He is always there for us when we need him; he is always close by; he is never too busy.  He loves us infinitely, enough to die for even the possibility that we might come back to live with Him and His Father.  He gives the best advice.  He will never leave us alone.  If a true friend is someone who makes it easier to live the gospel, or someone who makes us want to be our best selves, then it is certain: there is no better friend than Christ.
